Q. How much does wrestling cost?

A. Approximate costs are $150 for the season. This includes $39.95 for a USAwrestling Card and about 5 tournament entry fees. You receive a refund at the end of the year if you do not go to any tournaments.

Q. What gear is necessary to wrestle?

A. Wrestling shoes, headgear, shorts, t-shirt are fine for practice. Competition also requires a singlet (instead of t-shirt and shorts) which can be purchased from the team or online. We have our own custom team singlets that are probably cheaper than you'll be able to buy.

A. Online at Suplay.com. In Anchorage at Raysville Sports and Sports Authority.

Q. Is there a guide to youth wrestling?

Q. How long does the season last?

A. Freestyle season starts in March and ends the first weekend in May. More intensive camps are available in the summer.

Q. Does my kid have to attend every practice or compete in tournaments?

A. No. We do not take attendance and there is no requirement to compete.

Q. Does my kid have to wrestle girls if we don't want him to.

A. Our club lets the parents decide what they think is right. Whatever they decide it is fine with us.
